I hope that you enjoy browsing our website to learn a little of what life is like in our St Cuthbert's family.  We are very proud of our school and our pupils and love to share their successes with you.  Our website is packed full of useful information and regular updates on what is happening in and around school.

At St Cuthbert's, we aim to provide a caring, stimulating and secure environment underpinned by strong values rooted in a living Christian faith.  All our children are encouraged to work hard and do their best in all aspects of their learning and development.  This is summed up in our school vision;

 "In our family school, we strive to be the best for today, for tomorrow, for ourselves, for each other, the wider world and for God.  As a Christian family we nurture an understanding that we are all of equal value and infinite worth."

We place great emphasis upon the well-being and personal developmental of every child.  As a school, we work hard to create a lively, engaging and purposeful learning environment.

As a church school, we enjoy close links with St Cuthbert's Church and the Christian faith underpins all that we do in school, permeating all aspects of school life. This is clearly summarised in our mission statement, developed by the staff and children and centred on God's love for us all; 'learning to love, loving to learn in the family of Christ' as well as our core Christian school values of Love, Peace, Faith, Trust and Hope.

At St Cuthbert's, we actively encourage parents to become involved in their children's education. We firmly believe that home and school need to work in partnership for the benefit of the children. Working together as a school family, we can ensure that children are both happy and successful at school.
