Year 6's Class Page


Year 6 have a busy and challenging year ahead preparing for high school. It's my job, as the teacher of Year 6, to ensure that the children are well prepared for the SATs, in the summer months. Year 6 is hard work, but also very rewarding. We even have some fun along the way.


Safer Internet Day

This film accompanies the Safer Internet Day 2018 KS2 education packs. The film looks at how being online can make you feel , and how to respond to something upsetting online. It also looks at the importance of taking a minute away to consider your response.



Year 6 have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please ensure PE kits are all in school everyday, as we may have additional PE from time-to-time.




Homework will be set on Fridays and should be completed and returned by Wednesday at the very latest. Year 6 children are expected to complete approximately 1 hour of homework per week. Please read, as much as possible, in addition to any homework.

Year 6 Residential


After having such a fantastic trip to Robinwood last year, Year 6 be returning to to Robinwood in the Summer Term. This is a brilliant venue, which enables the children to enjoy an extensive range of activities. A real treat for the end of Year 6, guaranteed to be lots of fun.
