The Governing Body of St Cuthbert’s C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a Play Therapist/Therapeutic Practitioner. We are looking for someone who is committed, conscientious and qualified in therapeutic play. You will be expected to establish positive relationships with children, parents and staff and be part of a highly motivated team who aim to provide their pupils with the very best experiences in within a caring and supportive Christian community. The successful applicant will have a flexible attitude to the demands of school life, a good sense of humour and high expectations of both themselves and the children in school.

What you need;


  1. To provide play therapy and direct support for identified individuals and groups of children.
  2. To help school to work with parents, carers and professionals to better understand and to be able to meet the needs of identified individuals and groups of children.
