This half term we will be learning all about the weather. Including; seasons, climate, temperature and comparing our own weather patterns with those in different countries. We will study weather reports and revise our knowledge of the parts of Great Britain and The United Kingdom as well as the directional language used in weather broadcasts. We will continue to consider how climate change can have an impact upon our world. We will keep weather diaries and use these to establish data which will be intergrated into our Maths lessons. In English, we will be reading stories such as 'Oliver's Vegetables' and range of weather themed poetry. We will be doing lots of work upon sentence, presentation, spelling and grammar in preparation for our move to year 2.
